From the network of Environmental Volunteering of Catalonia (XVAC) we present the Nature Week .
The aim of this week, which this year will be held from 2 to 11 June, around World Environment Day, is that through the activities carried out by the entities, citizens can find their place to get involved. In Catalonia there are more than 200 active environmental NGOs that carry out environmental protection tasks.
This week also aims to serve as an exhibitor for these organizations to people who may be interested in meeting, participating and / or linking to organizations to end up becoming volunteers.
To go beyond the scope of environmental organizations, they invite on this occasion entities from other fields, universities, AMPES, families, etc., to join this celebration so that if they are encouraged to participate, they make a activities related to the environment.
Actions can now be registered on the website of the Week of the Nature, through the forms corresponding. Last year more than 200 events were organized, and more than 15,000 people decided to perform for nature.
