The Federica Cerdà Foundation is a private non-profit organization that was born with the aim of giving a better quality of life to children and young people with disabilities, whether physical, mental and / or sensory, through hippotherapy. .
It is a rehabilitation technique based on neurophysiology in which the movement of the horse “in step” is used as a therapeutic means. Although it has been shown to be a very effective therapy, it has a very high cost, which is why the Foundation helps financially people who have more difficulties.
They care for 29 children and young people a week (representing almost 1,000 therapies a year) with various conditions. To carry out their activities and to raise funds, they need volunteers. If you want to collaborate, go to contact the Office .
