L in TV3 Marathon, dedicated to cardiovascular diseases, it reaches its 24th edition this year. It will take place on December 14 and will be a day marked for the solidarity of Catalans.

The Sant Cugat organizations also wanted to join in and have organized more than twenty activities that are listed below.

Orientation race

December 14, from 9 am to 4 pm, Parc de la Pollancreda

Popular Orienteering Race through the Collserola Park.

Accenture Barcelona and The Accenture Foundation

December 14, at 10:00 am, Accenture Sant Cugat Offices

Activities for adults (running, walking, paddle, yoga, graphology masterclass, gin and tonic masterclass) and children (chocolate, facepainting, sports games, etc.). The Accenture Foundation will also be raffling off a solidarity trip among participants.


Sant Cugat Swimming Tennis Club

Sports and social day

Social and sports day with the aim of raising funds for this year’s La Marató. Aimed at all ages, the activities will be fun (inflatables, dance performances, chocolate) and sports (tennis, paddle and football tournaments).

The goal is to break the world record of Melé Gegant with 2,000 people. It is now at 1,008 people. Activity sponsored by IDC Salut-Hospital General de Catalunya.

Path of lights

December 14, 6:45 pm, Plaça Octavià

Solidarity lighting of lanterns. Throughout the day, light bags will be sold that children can decorate. At approximately 6:45 pm, they will land on the ground, drawing a heart that beats for La Marató. During the day, stories will be told and sung.



Ampa and Santa Isabel School

We paint for La Marató on TV3

December 20, 11 a.m., Santa Isabel School

On the occasion of an open day at the school, a giant mural is mounted, where a black and white drawing is made. Children and parents are encouraged to paint it together and, at the same time, make a voluntary contribution of money for La Marató de TV3. A second-hand solidarity market is also organized.


Ateneu Santcugatenc

Solidarity Bookshop and Hand Viola Concert

From Monday, December 1 to Friday 12, there will be a book stall at the entrance of the Ateneu. Everything collected during these days will be donated to La Marató.

Club Christmas Festival in which all the gymnasts take part. Draw for a basket of gifts.

Concert in the Aula Magna of the Victòria dels Àngels Municipal School of Music

Association of Congenital Children’s Heart Diseases of Catalonia

December 21 at 6 p.m.

The women’s choir of the Orfeó Català and the singer and actress Mònica Bernús with her band take part. The concert, lasting an hour and a half, has a part with the Orfeó Català and its repertoire and a second part with a selection of songs from the albums of the TV3 Marathon of previous years. There will be a joint performance of some pieces by all the artists (Orfeó and Mònica Bernús with the band).


Eurofitness Sant Cugat

Healthy Physical Activity Week

All targeted physical activities will be given tips for caring for cardiovascular health through exercise and will be encouraged to make donations for The 2014 Marathon.
