The City Council resumes training for organizations and offers online courses throughout the autumn

More practical courses are incorporated to help the entities in the management of the COVID and to advise them in the municipal procedures, among other proposals

Tools will also be offered to improve their own resource management and research

The City Council continues to promote support to organizations through training capsules on aspects of practical interest such as improving procedures with the council, resolving incidents or advising on the effects of the pandemic. They will be held in September, October, November and December, in 2-hour sessions, mostly.

The proposal is the result of the joint work of the Departments of Culture, Participation, Sports, Youth, Education and Social Rights and coordinated by the #supportities program of the Network of Multipurpose Cultural Centers (XCCP).

For this autumn, the City Council has renewed the training offer with two very clear objectives in mind:

  • Scheduling courses in order to provide direct support to organizations in the face of the effects of the pandemic for COVID-19. It will be explained how to carry out volunteering tasks more safely and how to create audiovisual content in the current era of digitalization of society.
  • Programming more practical courses that help to speed up procedures with the City Council, to resolve incidents within the entities and offering tools to improve their own management and search for resources.
