Do you like to write? It is time to share your experiences, motivations, experiences, satisfactions and concerns as a volunteer.
This year, the storytelling contest organized by the Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering reaches its 7 to edition . The call is open to anyone who wants to explain and share your volunteering experience within the framework of a social entity.
The competition is held in Catalonia and has four calls corresponding to the four provinces: Girona, Barcelona, Lleida and Tarragona . Prizes will be awarded to each of the winners in each territory.
The calls for Lleida and Girona are now open. As for Barcelona and Tarragona, the call is expected to open a little later. More information in the following link.
Requirements for stories
- The theme of the stories must be the social volunteering.
- The stories can be in Catalan or Spanish.
- Each story must compete in the call that corresponds to it at the territorial level, depending on the place where the volunteering takes place. Only the stories that correspond to each territory will be accepted.
- Each author can submit only one story.
- The maximum length of the stories is 2,000 characters regardless of title.
- Authors must send the stories and their contact details (name and surname, pseudonym, telephone, e-mail and organization where they volunteer) story submission form which can be accessed from the Voluntaris.cat website before 6 April at 2 pm for the stories participating in the Girona call and from 28 April at 2 pm for the stories participating in the Lleida call.
- A selection of the best stories will be published in blog Worth it ! during the year until the announcement of the next edition of the contest.
