The Directorate General of Civic and Community Action (DGACC) of the Government of Catalonia launches, once again, the pre – registration system of volunteers to The TV3 Marathon , which this year will be dedicated to raising funds against the Covid-19 . People interested in being part of it can apply until the next one November 2, at 10 p.m. , through the website marato.voluntariat.org . For the fourth year in a row, registration will not be immediate, but will allow you to enter the draw for available places.
The DGACC of the Department of Labor, Social Affairs and Families is the one in charge of the registry, the organization and the formation of volunteering who participates in it. In addition, it collaborates in the awareness and mobilization campaign of the citizen prior to the event.
The Marathon 2020 , which will take place on Sunday, December 20th , aims to raise funds to learn more about this coronavirus and advance research to improve the quality of life of people affected by this disease.
Markers underway and new solidarity product
Under the slogan ‘This Marathon touches everyone’, the Marathon 2020 has been running, since June 16, the marker to receive donations. Contributions can be made through the usual channels .
On the other hand, as a novelty this year, the Marathon publishes for the first time one solidarity t-shirt with the message #TocaATothom . ‘Bye, COVID’ is the title of the image illustrating the t-shirt, which shows a viral particle of SARS-CoV-2 in a lung, as seen by research professionals through the microscope.
Those who want it, can buy the shirt in the online store of TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio and thus help to grow the marker.
