The Solidarity Economy Fair of Catalonia (FESC) is an annual event, organized by the Solidarity Economy Network , which has been gathering for 4 years experiences and practices of this type of economy of all the Catalan territory. This year it will be held on 21, 22 and 23 October at the Fabra i Coats space in Barcelona.
In this edition, the FESC will expand the surface intended for the exhibition of associations, companies and cooperatives. There will also be more space dedicated to the direct sale of agro-ecological products .
The registration is necessary and mandatory for all organizations that want to carry out an activity proposal and / or obtain a stand. To sign up, you need to fill out and submit this form on line before July 15th . Applications received after the deadline will be included in a waiting list. Contact info@firaesc.org .
This year, the contents of the Fair will be articulated around four axis s:
- Territory in cooperation : It will include projects and strategies for territorial extension and improvement of participation.
- Recover sovereignty : The solidarity economy will be treated in strategic sectors such as energy, water, technologies, agroecology, the inclusion of social clauses in public procurement or mobilizations against the TTIP
- Creation of social markets : It will allow to know practices of the fields of production, consumption, finances, social currencies and of intercooperation
- Education and culture for social transformation: It will combine reflection with art and culture shows.
