The Ciutat de Sant Cugat Awards are one recognition to those people and organizations who have had a relevant role along the previous year in the call for the Awards. Congratulations to all those organizations that have been awarded this year!
Since their birth, each year they have been distinguished in one act or delivery gala people, entities, associations or companies linked to St Cugat that have stood out in the areas social, cultural, artistic, scientific, economic, political or sporting, either locally or beyond.
The Awards 2017 culminated the February 28th in a gala at the Theater-Auditorium. The gala was presented by journalists Jofre Llombart and Marina Romero. The winners were:
- Lluís Ribas for his 40 years of artistic career
- Montse Moral to bring the initiative of the Pharmaceutical Bank to the city
- The Patí Hoquei Club Sant Cugat receives the award for its 50th anniversary
- Marta Martí for 30 years weaving synergies in the fight against cancer
- Joan Hidalgo for his spirit of overcoming
The Extraordinary Prize went to Gemma Mengual, in honor of her career in the world of synchronized swimming.
As part of the gala of the 13th edition of the Awards, the Sant Cugat Medal of Honor was also presented to the Junior Futbol CLub for its centenary.
