Every year December 5th becomes a special day for all of us, we celebrate International Volunteer Day.
It is a day to recognize and appreciate the work that millions of volunteers do every day in an altruistic way and without expecting anything in return.
This year, the Office celebrates our 5th anniversary will take place in Sant Cugat, we also want to add to this gratitude and for this reason we invite you to the event that we will hold the Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 p.m. , at the Museu de Sant Cugat. The event will begin, with the presence of Councilor Dolors Bassa and the Mayor of Sant Cugat, Mercè Conesa.
As part of the International Day, the winning project of the XXIII will be made public Volunteer Awards 2016 and we will have the presence of the entity that won the 2015 Volunteer Award, the Comtal Private Foundation , which will make a presentation of the project implemented thanks to the Award received in the previous edition.
Elisenda Camps, director and presenter of the program “Everything is possible” of RAC1, will lead the event and hold an interesting conversation with members of the entity “PROACTIVA OPEN ARMS” who will explain their experience and share it with all attendees. The event will end with the offer of a glass of cava. So, from the Volunteer Office we want to thank in advance all the people and entities that make possible the volunteer projects that are carried out throughout the year and we invite you to come and celebrate with We.
