Talk by Dr. Albert Lladó Plarrumaní
“DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE”
Dr. Albert Lladó is a senior neurology specialist in the Alzheimer’s and Other Cognitive Disorders Unit at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Her assistance, research and teaching focus on neurodegenerative diseases that cause dementia, a field in which she has completed her doctoral thesis and has published numerous research articles. He is currently the secretary of the study group on cognition and behavior of the Catalan Society of Neurology.
In recent years, knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease has improved significantly. This knowledge can allow us to better diagnose the disease to people who suffer from it and their families. At the same time, although it is still an untreated disease, new knowledge opens the door to improve its treatment and therefore its prognosis.
In this talk, Dr. Albert Lladó will update us on current knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease and what to expect in the coming years.
AFFECTION IS THE BEST MEDICINE!
SEE YOU THERE!!!
