On May 21, 2012, a pioneering entity in Catalonia in its field was born in Sant Cugat thanks to two families, to treat children with TEL (Specific Language Disorder). They are currently celebrating one year of their association which has grown and they are now 18 families!
According to Susana Lozano, president of Atelca and mother of a child with TEL: “We created this association to raise awareness of TEL, as it is an invisible disability” that is, “it is not recognized in a child with this disability at first sight, but then he will not be able to speak or will speak very badly ”.
