The Red Cross is an international humanitarian institution that aims to improve the quality of life of the most disadvantaged people in our society.
The Red Cross works with and for people, promotes equality, solidarity and tolerance by intervening in areas such as first aid and emergencies, social intervention, international cooperation, training, the environment and employment.
Volunteers receive the appropriate training and formalize their commitment to temporary dedication to the institution’s projects and services. They are people with basic characteristics: respect and tolerance, the ability to adapt and learn, initiative, solidarity, empathy, commitment and the ability to work in a team.
Collaborating members offer the necessary financial contributions to support the activities carried out by the Red Cross.
