On 25 July, Law 25/2015 on volunteering and the promotion of associations was approved in the Parliament of Catalonia, which regulates, for the first time, the Catalan model of volunteering and aims to protect associations as agents of social transformation and recognizing the solidarity actions carried out by the citizens of Catalonia.
The legislation applies to all non-profit organizations in Catalonia, which is why it is important for organizations to know what the main obligations are regarding volunteering.

- Facilitate volunteers information about the mission and objectives of the entity.
- Have one volunteer plan and one training plan for volunteers.
