WHAT IS THE MEDIATION SERVICE?
The Mediation and Coexistence Service is a public service aimed at all citizens and organizations. Its aim is to facilitate the management of conflicts between individuals and / or groups. It is aimed at those people who want to resolve or improve a situation of coexistence in Sant Cugat through alternative conflict management (and not through the justice system), through dialogue and mutual understanding, as the parties they are the protagonists.
HOW DOES MEDIATION WORK?
To initiate a mediation process, it is sufficient for one of the parties involved to request it. An initial individual meeting is held. The mediator contacts the other party involved to hold an individual meeting with her. From here, there is a willingness to move forward, the individual and / or joint meetings necessary to manage the situation are established.
